Hamilton Guitar Lessons is here to help you become the guitar player that you’ve always wanted to be. Whether you’re just starting as a complete beginner, or you’ve been playing for years and want to get your playing to the next level, I can help you overcome the frustrations and challenges that are an inevitable part of learning to play the guitar.

I’m Jason Wilford, and I’ve personally been playing the guitar for over 25 years. Over the past 13 years I have helped hundreds of guitar players just like you to improve their guitar skills, feel good about their playing, and most importantly enjoy the process of learning something new.

Although the most important quality when seeking out a qualified instructor is what kind of results they will be able to achieve for you, I do have extensive experience in live performance and recording, received my musical education at Humber College in Toronto, and received years of specialized training to build my skills in how to teach guitar effectively. Teaching Info

I typically take on learners age 8 and above, but there’s no such thing as being too old to learn (my oldest student is almost 80) – so don’t ever feel like you’re too old!

If you’re a fan of rock, blues, reggae, folk (acoustic), funk, R&B, soul and/or jazz, then you’ll fit right in here. Those are my areas of expertise where I feel at home!

I teach players of all levels – from a complete beginner with zero experience (you’re totally welcome here if that’s you!) to someone who’s been playing for years and wants to build up their songwriting and soloing skills.
