Who is Alexander?
Alexander Cook grew up in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island playing in local groups and school bands while studying with respected local musicians. He then relocated to Halifax, Nova Scotia where he studied percussion at Dalhousie University and earned his Bachelor of Music in Performance, and a Master’s in Musicology. Having studied with the region’s top players (including Alan Dowling, Jim Faraday, Tom Roach, and D’Arcy Gray), Alexander is now residing in Montreal, Quebec. He performs jazz, hip hop, rock, and funk music with an array of talented musicians. Alexander is a passionate teacher, dedicated to sharing his knowledge and experience with his students to help them reach their goals.

Alexander Cook a grandi à Charlottetown, L’Île du Prince Édouard où il jouait avec des groupes locaux et à l’école pendant qu’il étudiait avec des musiciens/ennes respectés. A 17 ans, il a déménagé à Halifax, Nouvelle Écosse où il a étudié la percussion et la batterie à l’Université Dalhousie où il a complété son Baccalauréat et Maîtrise en musique. Ayant étudié avec des musiciens connus de la région (incluant Alan Dowling, Jim Faraday, Tom Roach, et D’Arcy Gray), Alexander vit maintenant à Montréal, Québec. Il joue de la musique rock, jazz, hip hop, et funk avec une groupe de musiciens/ennes variés et talentueux. Alexander est un professeur passionné, dédié à partager ses connaissances avec ses élèves avec l’objectif de les aider à atteindre leurs buts.
