Cosmo School of Music provides exceptional music instrument lessons and innovative group music programming to Richmond Hill, Oak Ridges, Aurora, Newmarket, Thornhill, Maple, Markham, and beyond. Our talented music instructors are dedicated to fostering a passion for music in you or your child, while the school carefully matches each student with the right teacher based on their unique skill set. With a world-class teaching facility equipped with dozens of rooms, scheduling is always convenient. Our offerings include personalized private lessons and engaging group classes for a wide variety of instruments, including brass instruments like the trumpet and trombone, drums (including acoustic and electronic sets), as well as guitar, piano, and voice lessons tailored to every age group. As you grow, you’ll have performance opportunities, learn from different artists, and get hands-on experience with our state-of-the-art technology and instruments. Whether your child is starting as young as three or you’re returning as an adult, we’re here to support your musical journey in a fun and supportive environment.

History

In 1971, Cosmo Music moved from Toronto to Richmond Hill to the historic Mundinger Music location. This meant a smaller town, but a bigger lesson area. The team saw a huge growth in the number of students looking for music lessons. The rest is history. For over 50 years, the Cosmo School of Music has helped aspiring musicians, composers, and artists discover their passion.
