Bio

Teodora Dimova is a Vancouver-based orchestral and chamber musician with over twenty years of performance experience across Canada and Europe.

She earned her Master’s Degree in Music Performance (Violin) from McGill University in Montreal in 2012 and has since been fortunate to have a full-time orchestra career.

Following her Masters studies, she became a member of the violin section of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra (2015-2019). After ten years of studying and performing in eastern Canada, she returned to BC and played with the Victoria Symphony (2019-2020) and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra (2020-present).

During the Covid pandemic, she performs at virtual concerts and small private functions, including weddings, wedding proposals and birthday celebrations. She teaches students of all ages and skill levels how to play the violin and become better musicians. She also mentors classical musicians who are in the early stages of their career.

In her spare time, Teodora volunteers to perform with like-minded musicians at benefit concerts in support of charities.

weekly 60-minute lessons are recommended for steady improvement.
