Bio

Established in 2014, Music Makerz has been the music studio of choice for many families in Waterloo Region, receiving Record Readers Choice Awards 3 years in a row.

Located in Kitchener, Music Makerz is dedicated to enhancing the lives of students musically, spiritually and developmentally.
Our instructors are university graduates, with experience in teaching every age and every level. They have varied experience in classical and contemporary instrumental and voice, musical theatre, public school and Montessori education, band and ensemble performance, Children’s Mennonite Choir, music therapy, and special education.

Group/Family Music

 

Music classes are not just entertaining—they’re educational. Children develop important skills such as rhythm, coordination, and language while parents actively participate in their child’s growth. By learning and practicing together, families can support each other’s development, creating an encouraging and motivating and inclusive environment.
Group classes are held in Kitchener at Legacy Church on Saturday (DROP IN FEE AVAILABLE email bemusicmakerz@gmail.com) or Kingsdale Community Centre on weekday mornings (SIGN UP THROUGH CITY OF KITCHENER).

 

Piano Lessons
Our piano lessons are designed to provide a comprehensive and engaging learning experience for students of all ages and skill levels. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s individual needs, skill level, and musical interests. Whether you’re a beginner learning the basics or an advanced player looking to refine your technique, our instructors provide personalized guidance to help you reach your goals.

Vocal Lessons
With our comprehensive vocal lessons, students not only improve their singing abilities but also gain confidence, develop their unique voice, and cultivate a deep love for music. Each lesson is customized to fit the student’s vocal range, style preferences, and goals. Whether you’re a beginner learning the basics or an experienced singer looking to refine your technique, our instructors provide individualized coaching to help you reach your full potential.
